Katherine Jean Bolduan professionally known as Kate Bolduan is an American broadcast journalist. Her most famous role is as anchorwoman of CNN's morning program At This Hour. Earlier she co-anchored the CNN on weekdays mornings New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan was part of CNN its award-winning coverage of the presidential 2012 and 2016 elections. Her prior experience included working as a Washington DC based correspondent, reporting on all aspects of both US House and Senate. Bolduan, as member of the Capitol Hill Unit, reported on congressional cycles as well as congress events including negotiations to raise the loan limit for federal government as well as the Super Committee's deliberations. Her work on general assignments has included reporting regarding The Christmas Day Bombing, Obamacare's Supreme Court Decision and implementation of the Government's stimulus program in 2009. Then she became an CNN Newsource national correspondent in 2007. As the CNN Newsource correspondent, she covered breaking news stories and also produced feature-length reports for more than 800 CNN Newsource members.
