Lis Wiehl is an American writer and legal analyst who was formerly an analyst for Fox News analyst.
She is an adjunct professor of law at New York Law School, as well as an adjunct professor at University of Washington Law School. She's provided legal commentaries for National Public Radio and Bill O'Reilly's Radio Factor. She has been a frequent guest of The O'Reilly Factor as well Lou Dobbs Today, The Kelly File With Megyn Kelly with Neil Cavuto and The Kelly File.
Wiehl is a Yakima native who graduated from West Valley High School. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in English from Barnard College, followed by a master of arts in literature from University of Queensland, in 1985.
Wiehl worked as a prosecutor in the US Attorney's Office. She worked as the legal correspondent on NPR All Things Considered. She was the Chief Investigator's Counsel for the Democrats in the House Judiciary Committee in Clinton's impeachment. She was a law professor as a tenured professor at University of Washington School of Law Seattle where she managed the Trial Advocacy Program from 1995 through 2001. Wiehl has been an analyst for Fox News analyst since 2001.
