April Bowlby is an American model and actress. Her fame is based on her roles as Kandi and Stacy Barrett from Drop Dead Diva, and Rita Farr and Titans and Doom Patrol. April Michelle Bowlby (born April Michelle Bowlby) is an American Actor most well-known for her role as Stacy Barrett in Drop Dead Diva as well as Kandi the popular TV sitcom Two and a Half Men. Her career began with modeling before she moved onto movies and TV series. After appearing as an additional character in the show CSI: Crime Scene Investigation as well as in single episodes of different shows, her first role on TV was CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. Soon, she landed the role as Kandi in the TV show Two and a Half Men. Bowlby's character as Stacy Barrett on the series Drop Dead Diva earned her international recognition. She played the regular role as Rita Farr/Elastigirl in the American web series Titans. The spin-off series Doom Patrol will see her playing the role. Bowlby was in TV films like Sands of Oblivion or The Wrong Daughter. In addition to All Roads Lead Home she was also in The Slammin Salmon, From Prada to Nada and other film. Bowlby, who was raised within Manteca (California) was a student at East Union High School. After studying ballet as well as French at Moorpark College, Bowlby decided to pursue an acting profession. She studied drama at Ivanachubbuck, and was offered the role in an important TV show (Kandi) within a few months following her Hollywood audition. Bowlby played a part as a guest on several TV series like CSI: NY which featured Jenny Lee and Freddie (as Sydney) in 2005. In addition, she starred as Meg as part of How I Met Your Mother. Bowlby has recently played the character of Natasha (a 12 year-old girl) in All Roads Lead Home. The film centers around an accident which leads her to lose her mother. Bowlby plays Mia In The Slammin Salmon, a comedy film to be released in the year 2008. The actress lives in Los Angeles. Naturally red-haired, she is blue-eyed. The couple has not been married, she also has no children.
