Simone Biles

Simone Biles was an American gymnast who was born on March 14, 1997 in the city of Columbus, Ohio. Biles is believed to be among the top gymnasts. In the 2016 Olympics held in Rio de Janeiro she became the first female U.S. gymnast to win four gold medals in one Games as well as the first gymnast in history to win three consecutive all-around world championships (2013-15). Biles as well as the younger of her sisters Adria, who were adopted by Ronald Biles as well as Nellie Biles' grandparents in Spring Texas (in the Houston area) were raised there. Simone became interested in gymnastics when she was just six in a day-care field excursion to Bannon's Gymnastix and she remained there for eleven years under the direction of her trainer Aimee Boorman. Biles achieved a silver medal at vaulting in the year 2010 as well as a bronze at the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships. Then she moved on to competitions at the elite level in 2011. A year later Biles had a dominating performance in the sport. Biles's consistency, her exuberant nature and high degree of effort in her four events -vault uneven bars balance beam floor exercise as well as floor exercises -- helped to set her above the others.
